The most beautiful and oldest miniature park in the world – a journey through the cultural landscape of the Ore Mountain region
The complete Ore Mountain range at a glance and all in one day – like a sheet of pictures small houses, great sights as well as the most beautiful Saxonian castles line up to form a unique miniature panorama of the ore Mountain in the idyllically situated surroundings of the municipal park in Oederan.
More than 200 handcrafted models with careful attention to every detail, hand-carved figurines, houses, bridges, trains and floral arrangements have interesting stories to tell. Not only the eyes of the little ones brighten when watching small trains
winding their way throughthe countryside, small firemen who are just putting out a fire with an old fire engine, children cheerfully riding a merry-go-round and the woodcutter who keeps chipping wood swinging his axe up and down. Enjoy a ride on the park train or have fun with your children in the play and discovery area, have a closer look at the „Holzkunsthaus“ (wood art house) or watch a demonstration of old craftsmanship, relax at the restaurant or café or take part in one of the colourful events.
